Le Morne Cultural Landscape — UNESCO
UNESCO cultural landscape commemorating the enslaved people who took refuge on Le Morne's cliffs — a symbol of freedom.
The Île aux Cerfs Golf Club at Shangri-La Le Touessrok is the world's only golf course located entirely on a private island, accessible by boat from the resort's jetty. The par-36 nine-hole course, designed by Bernard Langer, plays through the island's tropical landscape with the Indian Ocean visible from every hole. The combination of the boat journey, the island setting, and the quality of the course design makes this one of the most memorable golf experiences in the world, regardless of handicap.
