About
The full-day catamaran excursion to Île aux Cerfs from Trou d'Eau Douce is one of Mauritius's classic experiences, combining the stunning white-sand beaches of the private island with guided snorkelling stops on the outer reef. Schools of reef fish, hawksbill turtles, and giant clams are regularly encountered. Rum punch, seafood barbecue, and water toys are included on most operator packages. The lagoon colour at Île aux Cerfs — an almost impossibly vivid turquoise — is one of the most photographed sights in the Indian Ocean.
