Is claiming a listing on Mauritius Life free?
Yes — claiming your basic listing is free. A free claim lets you verify your business details and add contact information. Premium tiers unlock additional features including photo galleries, promotional offers, featured placement in category pages, and priority search ranking. All plans include a 7-day free trial with no commitment required. No credit card is needed to start the free tier.
What can I do once I have claimed my listing?
After claiming, you can update your business description, add up to 10 photos, set opening hours, add your website and phone number, respond to customer reviews, and choose a premium plan for extra visibility. Changes are reviewed and go live within 24 hours of approval. Premium listings also appear in our weekly newsletter sent to thousands of subscribers. You can also specify accepted payment methods, languages spoken, and parking availability — details that help visitors decide whether your business meets their needs before making contact.
My business is not listed yet. What should I do?
If your business does not appear in the search results above, contact us at listings@mauritius-life.com with your business name, category, region, address and contact details. We will add your listing within 2–3 business days, after which you can return to this page to claim and customise it.
How long does the claim verification process take?
Once you submit your claim, we verify ownership within 48 hours on Mauritius business days (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm). You will receive an email confirmation once your claim is approved. If we need additional information to confirm ownership, we will contact you at the email address you provided during the claim process.
