Le Morne Whale Adventures

The waters off Le Morne Peninsula on the south-west tip of Mauritius are where the ocean floor drops precipitously from the lagoon to depths of over 1,000 metres within just 2 kilometres of shore. This dramatic submarine geography concentrates sperm whales close to the coast, and brings humpback whales within easy reach during their July to October migration. Le Morne Whale Adventures uses fast speedboats to reach the whale zones quickly, maximising time observing rather than transiting.
