Island Spirit Whale and Dolphin Tours

Island Spirit's signature full-day excursion combines every element of the west coast experience into a single unforgettable day. The boat departs Black River at 6am for the dolphin session at Tamarin Bay, then heads into deeper water for whale watching (year-round for sperm whales, July to October for humpbacks). Mid-morning, the boat anchors at a remote sandbank for a beach barbecue of freshly grilled fish and Creole salads. The afternoon includes snorkelling at two reef sites before a leisurely return to Black River at around 4pm. Rum punch, soft drinks, and water are included throughout the day.
