LUX* Grand Baie

LUX Grand Baie opened in 2020 as the brand's urban beach resort, occupying a prime position on Grand Baie lagoon in the busiest, most cosmopolitan part of the island's northern coast. Unlike LUX's other Mauritius properties, which are destination resorts in remote or semi-remote locations, Grand Baie is city-adjacent: the restaurants, bars, boutiques, and nightlife of Grand Baie's main strip are literally across the road. The resort itself is architecturally striking — a curved facade of white concrete and glass faces the lagoon, the interiors all done in a palette of cream, sand, and warm copper that channels a contemporary Mediterranean hotel more than a classic Mauritian one.
