City Clinic (Clinique de Grand Baie) is the most practically useful private medical facility for anyone living or staying on the north coast, filling the gap between the GP's consulting room and the emergency department at Clinique du Nord. Situated on the Royal Road in Grand Baie, it offers a walk-in and appointment consultation service that covers general medicine, travel health, minor injuries, wound care, and the routine blood and urine testing that visitors and expats frequently need.

The clinic is staffed by a rotating team of GPs with access to on-site blood testing, ECG, and ultrasound — enough diagnostics to manage the vast majority of presentations that a general practitioner would see.
