Creole Cooking Class

Mauritius has one of the most diverse food cultures in the Indian Ocean, shaped by French, Indian, Chinese, and Creole influences. Cooking classes offer the best way to understand this culture. The most authentic experiences are in private homes where local cooks teach the dishes they grew up making: dholl puri, rougaille, briani, octopus vindaye, and desserts like gato piment.
