Bois Cheri Tea Estate Tour

Bois Cheri in the southern highlands is the oldest and largest tea-growing estate in Mauritius, established in 1892. The guided tour takes visitors through the plucking fields, withering and rolling rooms, drying ovens, and sorting hall. The tasting session features the estate's unusual blends including vanilla tea, coconut tea, and a rum-infused tea. The cafe has good Creole food and views over the tea fields.
